Welcome to UNCC GAB
Welcome all and thank you for your interest in joining the Global Architecture Brigade at UNCC. Joey Rosenberg and I (Spencer McKay) are currently recruiting members and initiating fundraising for the student chapter of GAB here in the School of Architecture at UNCC to go on two design/build trips to Panama over the next 12 months; the first being over our Spring Break (March 8-13). Pay attention to your emails and if you would like to be added to our email list post your email as a comment onto this post. Encourage others who you think might be interested, we look forward to hearing from you and feel free to ask us any questions.
We are the Global Architecture Brigade Student Chapter at UNCC. As we continually look to further our design education we are also concerned with architectural/design issues in our world. Global Brigades is a non-profit organization that helps developing countries in many fields (Water, Medical, Business, Environmental, etc) by linking up with other non-profits that are already established in developing countries that need help with these issues. Our chapter is based on putting our design educations to work by not only allowing us to build what we design, but help a community in need while doing so.
