Hello all, we just finished our second meeting this evening. We've got some great ideas and things are starting to advance. Antonio Martinez is heading up our Fundraising and Marketing which will help a huge amount. We are now on Facebook as well and have created a group, so if you were not invited and would like to join just search UNCC GAB and anyone can join. Be on the look out for our first fundraising event, which will be a Feliz Navidad, end of the semester bash in order to raise money for our trip to Panama. Below is the GAB brochure in case you are still looking for more information on our organization. As always feel free to comment and we hope to hear from you soon!

Adios,
Spencer and Joey

GAB Summary Flyer Information

Here is a flyer given by Charlie for a good summary of the what to expect from the Brigade:

GAB Student Manual

This is our manual for pretty much any question we might have.
We will plan to use this as discussion reference next monday and the rest of the semester.
Sorry I haven't figured out how to post a .pdf file here, so here's the link to scribd.com:

GAB/GBB East Coast Contact List

Here is the contact list from the conference call last night.
GBB is the Global Business Brigade, one of many groups that are Global Brigades (Dance, Dental, Environment, Law, Medical, Finance, Public Health and Professional Water).
This is a great way for us to be in contact with others who we can ask for help/advice relating to the Brigade.

Welcome to UNCC GAB

Welcome all and thank you for your interest in joining the Global Architecture Brigade at UNCC. Joey Rosenberg and I (Spencer McKay) are currently recruiting members and initiating fundraising for the student chapter of GAB here in the School of Architecture at UNCC to go on two design/build trips to Panama over the next 12 months; the first being over our Spring Break (March 8-13). Pay attention to your emails and if you would like to be added to our email list post your email as a comment onto this post. Encourage others who you think might be interested, we look forward to hearing from you and feel free to ask us any questions.
